Over the years I gained extensive experience in working with parents and children on various issues. such as displaying behaviour that is regarded as a problem by parents or in school, children who may be difficult to control, lack confidence, insecure, withdrawn, anxious, witnessed trauma, or who have experienced loss through bereavement, family breakdown, divorce or separation
I also support children with difficulties of relating and communicating. I am certified in the DIR (Developmental, Individual Difference, Relationship-based) Floortime Model, which is an approach tailored to the unique strengths and needs of children with developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). My goal is to empower the parent to be strong advocates for their children, and build on their children strengths to build positive and close relationships, have fun and promote social, emotional and cognitive development.
